Family therapy with accommodation
The Fortitude Centre offers stays of at least one week for families whose members are aged 14 and over.
These stays are aimed particularly at families experiencing recurring conflicts, unresolved past wounds, communication difficulties, attachment issues, a period of transition, bereavement, adoption or the need to improve their family dynamics.
Care may include family meetings, individual meetings, psychotherapy, psychoeducation, and a support plan tailored to each family's needs.
A space reserved for your family
Each family benefits from a private residence or, depending on its composition and needs, two or more residences.
You will not be sharing your accommodation with another family. This arrangement ensures confidentiality, respects each individual's pace, and provides an environment conducive to the therapeutic process.
Re-establishing connections and positive experiences
The week combines psychological care with quality family time. Outdoor activities, at Parc des Chutes or on the Centre's grounds, can support positive interactions and help family members experience new things together.
Depending on the season and needs, activities may include walking, snowshoeing, fat biking, tubing, zip-lining, forest trails, horseback riding or equine therapy, yoga and massage therapy.
